GET FIT WITH BLOODLINE

3 EASY METHODS TO ENSURE YOUR PUTTER IS RIGHT FOR YOU

It is important that the putter you use is a fit for your body type, size, and stroke mechanics. Of course, if you have access to a golf professional that can help you determine the correct putter fit for you, that is a bonus. However, not everyone has access to a pro but it’s still important to learn the correct specs so that you get the most out of your Bloodline putter. In fact, a study on putting showed that the number of putts that were made from 5’ increased from 5.6 to 6.1 out of 10 when players used a putter that was correctly fit. Bloodline’s patented technology will be even more effective when your putter fits properly and this is something YOU can choose to do whenever you are ready.

We have put together 3 different solutions to help you ensure you a correct fit for your new Bloodline putter:

BLOODLINE'S PROPRIETARY FITTING

Ok. If you are ready to take 5 minutes of your time and find out the perfect length and lie of your putter, lets do it! All you need to do is use a tripod or have a friend take a video clip of you using a putter from behind along with your putter length.
1. Measure from the bottom of the club face to the top of the putter grip or comfortable position. Round to the nearest whole number. Either 32", 33", 34", 35", or 36".

2. Video your setup and stroke from down the line. During the video, please hit a putt or two on any indoor or flat surface and describe any questions or comments you have (20 seconds max for each angle).

Using this clip, we will use JC Video software analysis and technology to make a recommendation for a putter that will fit you perfectly. (Currently, this service is complimentary however, there may be a cost in the future so please send in your videos ASAP)

FIT YOURSELF

If you are willing and able to find a tape measure and edit a picture on a smartphone, you’ve got what it takes to get what is usually a very accurate fit from your own home by using ANY other putter. It’s as easy as 1-2:

1. Measure from the top of the grip or comfortable position, down the shaft, and to the bottom of the club face. Round to the nearest whole number. Either 32", 33", 34", 35", or 36".

2. Next, determine the lie (angle that the shaft comes up from the head) that is a fit for by taking a video of yourself on your phone and use the straightening feature of video editing to find your lie. Standard lie is 68< and <71. Flat<68. Upright >71.

If you are willing and able to find a tape measure and edit a picture on a smartphone, you’ve got what it takes to get what is usually a very accurate fit from your own home by using ANY other putter. It’s as easy as 1-2-3:

1. Hold on to the putter at whatever height feels comfortable to you so that you are in a comfortable position to address the ball (see pic 1). Then measure from about ½” above that point (along that shaft) to the very bottom of the putter (see pic 2).

2. Next, determine the lie (angle that the shaft comes up from the head) that is a fit for you by following the instructions in this link:

3. (not sure what this is…?) Swing path (arc or straight back and through)

BASIC STARTING POINT

Don't know what length you have and not sure where to start? We have put together a chart based on thousands of putter fittings that is very effective at predicting the a starting point that will fit you. For the vast majority of players, starting with just a player's height is extremely predictive in what specs will be a likely fit. After generations of working with golfers these are what we believe to be the best spec's to put you in the proper position to putt. In fact, if you are unsure of the putter specs that are right for you, we recommend purchasing based solely on this chart because Bloodlines interchangeable technology allows us to send you a shaft with modified specs to swap out at home if you determine (after trying at home) that the fit needs to be modified.
